She has worked in roles ranging from producer to post-production manager, demonstrating a wide spectrum of expertise in visual storytelling. Her selected credits include: 'Leaving Eden' (Co - Producer), 'Infinite Storm' (VFX Coordinator), 'Boxer' (VFX Producer), 'White Courage' (VFX Producer). She is also a co-founder of Lumière de Cinema, a Warsaw-based post-production company.

An experienced producer with over a decade of work on documentary and television projects – from multi-episode formats to ambitious international documentaries. She has collaborated with major broadcasters including BBC, TVN Discovery, Polsat, TVP, TLC, Canal+, and A&E Network. She currently heads the International Co-Production Development Department at ORKA Production Studio.

She is a member of KIPA, the European Producers Club, and President of the Polish Postproduction Society.

Joanna has collaborated with international film crews and worked with major global agencies including HAVAS, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, Publicis, McCann, and Hogarth. She holds a law degree earned through studies at several European universities, later combining her legal background with a passion for filmmaking. After starting out on set as a gaffer’s assistant and moving into sound post-production, Joanna completed her studies in Film Production at the renowned Łódź Film School. For the past five years, she has focused on image post-production, leading complex projects with precision and creativity.

Poland has a deep history in cinema, but also a growing reputation for excellence in screen innovation, AI, virtual production and visual effects. This session will introduce three pioneering Polish female film professionals from post-production, directing, and VFX to dissect two specific case studies. They will explore how AI can augment the quality and scope of independent production from the development stage onward. The discussion will highlight what Danish professionals can learn from Polish examples of working with major domestic and global productions to elevate their own native films and series.
